I chose to find a personal trainer rather than continue with my gym membership, because I needed someone to work with me on a specific programme that took account of myneeds, but primarily, for the motivation of having someone to push me.
I run my own business and it can be stressful, so forcing myself out of work mode and into training with Howard is always a smart move because I always feel better afterwards, and, as I hurtle towards 50, these things become ever more important.
There are heaps of PT’s out there so finding the right one is a challenge. But there has to be chemistry between PT and client, empathy, and an ability to ‘read’ the mood and help define the goals of the client. I have recommended him to a couple of my contracts and have no qualms about doing so again.
