Depending on what your health and fitness goals are will determine what you take from this blog, but generally, anyone who performs some form of regular exercise will have an objective linked to it. This may be quite specific i.e. to lose weight, tone up, build muscle, train for a marathon or simply to be‘fit for life’.
The problem for a lot of people is, where to start? Do you sign up at your local gym, do you seek the services of a personal trainer, do you try a bootcamp, do you get the information from a book, internet, from a friend or do you simply do your own thing?
So many avenues to choose from, but which is ultimately going to help you reach your goals?
Having spoken to a large number of people over the years, the comment I hear over and over, is……… “I’m trying a routine a mate down the gym gave me”.
When I then ask how it’s going, the all-too-common reply is that they are not reaching their goals. Why? Because it’s not tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Everyone is different and what may suit one person may not necessarily suit someone else.
At achieve more, we pride ourselves in not only treating everyone as an individual, but ensuring that your training programme is designed specifically with your health and fitness goals in mind.
Knowledge is power and I wish I knew twenty years ago, when I started keeping fit, what I know now – I could have saved myself years of wasted time and effort.
